The Supervisor Network Administrator will report to the Network Manager, and shall be responsible for installing, setup, and monitoring of local area network (LAN). The prospective candidate should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems preferred but will consider applicants with equivalent work-related experience, with at least 3 years of post-qualification experience as a network technician in an ICT enterprise environment. Certification in MCSE, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, CNE will be an added advantage
Competencies:
- Advanced knowledge of layer-2 network design and protocols including frame-relay, ATM, Ethernet, SONET
- Advanced knowledge of routed and routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, Multicast, RSVP/LDP, MPLS.
- Experience in installing/maintaining networking equipment and engineering internetworking equipment
- Advanced knowledge of security protocols and implementations including IPSec, NAT, ACLs
