MANAGER, SOFTWARE/SYSTEMS DEVELOPER (2)

  1. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

A degree in computer science/Information Systems or related field or a combination of related experience and education.

Should have a minimum of 5 years of technology experience with at least 3 years of hands-on technical roles in the field and relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

A result-oriented individual who thrives working in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge and experience in web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, PHP, web services, XML, and related programming tools will be an advantage.

 

  1. CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Demonstrated ability to develop in Microsoft Visual   Studio environment using Visual Basic, C-Sharp etc.
  • Ability to identify tasks which require automation and automate them.
  • Extensive knowledge of data processing, hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications
  • Technical experience with systems networking, databases, web development, and user support
  • Good background in Database design in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Access
  • Background in UNIX/Linux, Microsoft .Net Framework, Java, Shell Scripting, and HTML.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Project Management Skills
  • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-Motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The Software/Systems Developer will be responsible for undertaking all aspects of software development /implementation, administration, maintenance, and support.
  • The post holders will manage, supervise, and provide leadership for teams that will be responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining, and administering the Authority’s operational and support business systems.​
  • Provide support in translating user input into specifications for software upgrades.
  • Implement policies and procedures for data/information processing and computer systems operations and development.
  • Work with Vendors to specify, design, and implement business systems that are efficient, scalable, and stable.
